Just an FYI. UFA can’t meet with teams tell the new league year starts.

So any player with injury concerns that needs to be medically cleared will start meeting with teams starting today at 4pm. A lot of player will have deals worked out pending being cleared.

Like DJ Reader last year was not signed tell Thursday.

Jonathan Allen was allowed to meet with the Vikings since he was cut not a UFA.

So Levi O might have a deal with someone pending being medically cleared.

I could also see the Lions waiting for the same thing with UFA from other teams.

It’s a point worth making. I think it’s kind of lost on a lot of us that we’re not hearing rumblings on our own guys like Levi because suitors (and their doctors) can’t get their hands on him until after 4:00.

I’ve been reiterating the same thing in regards to Lawrence who I still believe to be the Edge target.

And I would think the best deals will happen later in free agency. Dexter Lawrence is definitely a guy we should be interested in.

Hey guys I am trying to be better with my crashing out over moves I don’t agree with. I knew after we resigned Davenport and cut Z.Smith I could not come on here even know my suspension was over before that lol.

I know the Lions are running a tight ship. I might not agree with Brad Holmes philosophy of building. Not going all in when your window is open. I am not going to go off on posts about it either any longer!!!
