Slay is a true cover corner who was never much of a tackler. He has now lost a step so his coverage is a liability and he doesn’t have his tackling to fall back on…in short, he no longer provides anything worthy to a team. Love the guy, but time to hang ‘em up.

PFF is supposed to take into account more than just passer rating. There are run plays. And other pass plays when you’re not the closest person to the receiver. As I said…..FWIW.

Yeah… the fact that playing the run is a factor in the PFF score makes it even more perplexinge.

I think Packer TE Tucker Kraft retired half the Steelers secondary after he got done with them a few weeks back. They did not want to tackle him and those that wanted to couldn’t. Slay was one of them.
