Am I crazy or did anyone else watch ESPNs postgame on Monday and someone on there said Montgomery told them he will be ready to go against the Vikings?

That’s half the story.

DMont told them he felt ready to go, but he hasn’t been cleared by the medical staff.

Somebody think maybe van pelt definitely said that Montgomery thought he would be ready to play vs the Vikings but also seemed more like David pushing or hoping than the team being optimistic

Nor should he play. The Lions have enough depth at RB with Gibbs, Netflix, Jermar Jefferson, and Vaki that they don’t need D-Mont to come back prematurely.

I probably wouldn’t play him unless he’s fully healthy. I’d rather have healthy Monty in the playoffs. Ride Gibbs vs the Vikes

Yea I felt like we were very Vanilla against the 49ers in the first half especially. Definitely think we will be blitzing Darnold a lot at a fired up ford field.

Gibbs / Reynolds / Jefferson / Vaki is still a damn good RB rotation and we shouldn’t have any noticeable issues in the run game.

We need Montgomery for deeper into the playoffs.
