David Ojabo in the draft

Hello just wondering what the forum’s opinion is on David Ojabo the Michigan LB?

The press over here in the UK are bigging him up as the great British prospect and projecting him as a potential top 10 pick. Is he that good?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

IMO he is second rd an is still learning

Struggles against the run and could use another year but due to being a foreign student he isn’t eligible for NIL money and as a projected first rounder can’t blame him.

Guessing mid to bottom first round.

Mid to late 1st round seems to be general consensus

Someone will roll the dice on him in the mid to late 1st round. He’s raw, but there aren’t many guys out there with his natural talent.

He has the potential to go that high but I personally doubt it.

He’s a legitimate first rounder though.

He’s raw and learning but he’s shown a progression that NFL teams love. His ceiling is high.

However his size means that he’s most likely only going to appeal to teams that run a 3-4. Where he will ultimately be an OLB.

He’s only had one good season and I think that hurts his chances of going top 10. Add in the fact that he’s raw and will only appeal to 3-4 teams and I’d say it’s much more likely he goes mid round 1.

But I think his growth as a player will convince a 3-4 team to take him round 1.

His run defense needs a lot of work. I could see one of the top-tier teams drafting him as a pass-rushing specialist, which is really a position of luxury.

I think he goes late first. Probably pick 20-25.
