Fact is Bob, that Carolina needed an identity, someone to get season ticket holders excited about the future. Stroud comes in and immediately gives them that identity, you can be excited to be a Panthers fan again. Carolina needed to make a splash, and that’s exactly what they did here. This is why they made the deal with the Bears and this is the face of the franchise.
If CJ Stroud plays like he did against that vaunted Georgia defense this is going to be a great pick. CJ Stroud has played great in his bowl games. Fact is he’s a PT player. Looked great in throwing drills at the combine compared to the other QBs.

I don’t want to say I draft somebody that’s already been picked… so folks should announce there team…what round, and who they drafted. can’t keep track of who already picked…
That will almost certainly happen during the draft. No way around it. Someone will catch it and we’ll make you pick someone else. There will be a running list at the top of the draft thread, so try to make sure the name hasn’t already been picked to keep us moving along. But mistakes will likely happen.

Yeah, that was me. You had picked the Bears who were already taken, and the Rams seemed just too perfect of a fit for you. Stafford and all.

All eyes now turn to Houston, where Texans GM @JimLiohey will be looking to turn around the fortunes of a beleaguered franchise that’s spent the last several years in turmoil.
Everyone is expecting a QB, and while Alabama QB Bryce Young has been the popular choice, no one is really sure what this GM with deep ties to the Patriots will really do. Could we be in for a surprise pick Bob?

My insiders are telling me the Anderson and Richardson are being discussed as the pick there is a chance that Young may slide to the Colts.While everyone expects QB to be the pick a strong class next year and a pass rushing talent like Anderson sitting there Infront of them may mean 1 more year of Davis Mills.
