Describe the Lions identity

That earworm has taken root now. The only cure is to hear the REM antidote, The Sidewider Sleeps Tonight. A sidewinder is a snake that lives in the desert, see.

Hard to imagine that hoser’s family being anything but.

We are Grit. The leagues have taken notice and try to embody the same thing.

The team’s identity begins with the OL and running the ball. Physical. Gritty.
It continues to the defense with “stop the run” and forcing teams to do what they want to do least. Imposing our will… Gritty.

Lastly, and the thing that is too much attributed to BJ, is we are an explosive team on offense. Lethal. It’s not really part of the Grit identity, but it’s who we are and what I think could be highlighted most this year, especially with Morton in town and Jamo maturing. Explosive.

As another poster said above, grit is fine but it’s old gold.

Each season is a different animal.

They’ve been close. A few plays from the SB two years ago. And unceremoniously bounced last year after winning 15 games.

Lock the ■■■■■■■ door. Only one team gets out.

I mean not really… But it was fun to say. Haha I did play a lot of football with guys from Chatham in University. They all seemed to hate Chatham. Always wondered why!? Was probably just Bols ruining nuclear family’s… Lol

Windsor was all about underage drinking and ballet when I was 19. Didn’t have gambling yet. Sorry Jman.

About 800 years ago i posted a thread on the old forum about this very issue. I talked about how the steelers matched their city and how the Ben Wallace era pistons matched their city. At that time we were trying all sorts of nonsense to win games and nothing worked.
Finally we have a team that is innovative but also willing to sweat more than anyone else.

Finally we have a team that is both Harley Earl and Joe Lunchpail.

Finally we have a team that is the beauty of motown with the grit of D12.

Finally we have a team that is a team. A union. A group united to achieve a goal.

We were the arsenal of democracy and now our team is the arsenal of bad assery.

God bless coach Campbell and what he’s brought.

Based on the new banner at Ford Field, I’d say the new identity of these Lions is:

“The Hunters.”

In the jungle, the mighty jungle,
The Lions feast tonight…

Exactly

The fans and team office tried to play on it as a motivational thing and it failed for me.
