Hey Free….what prospects do you like?? I’m kinda on the Dylan Crews or Gonzalez
I just want a professional hitter, whoever it is, at any position except C.
I want a hitter that can also actually play his position well. We always seem to draft great athletes that can’t hit at all or good hitters that can’t play defense to save their life. I’m not talking about mike trout level talent. I’d be more than happy with a couple more Riley Greene level players.
I really want small ball. we have a huge ballpark, built for pitchers and line drive hitters. if anything I’d move the fences back to their original position. sure you can sign a dude or 2 that has power but I’d much rather have a bunch of smaller faster contact hitters with some speed. it puts pressure on the opposing defense and pitcher. Not to mention nice long innings to rest your starter and tire the opposition out.
