But the Dodgers are basically team Japan at this point. Every top Japanese player is going to LA now and for at least the next 5 years.

Baseball is really starting to suck. Dodgers are paying fringe roster players more than starters on most teams

Even the Yankees said screw it recently… The Mets and Dodgers payrolls combined may be more than most of mlb. It’s insane. Don’t just look at 2025 payroll, you gotta look at the billion of deferred money and then any baseball fan with a brain agrees

Draft well, develop players and don’t play that Dodger and Mets game unless your owner is the richest guy in the land.

The Tigers are cheap with Chris Illitch at the helm, his old man Mike was a big spender. They’re going to be cheap from now on, it is what it is. It’s the opposite of Michigan that started throwing around NIL money and used to be cheap. But I’m sure the young Japanese guy was always signing in California. That’s just the way it is.
