What if Parker Meadows rakes? More RF whwn Clark comes up?

Ahhh, never mind….up 3-0, 3-2 weak groundout

Max ties it up 2-2 1st pitch bases loaded single through the box.

Broadcast blurb says the Tigers first to third rate was the best in the last 50 years

1.5 million for Hoskins seems like a serious bargain. OPS + of 108 last year

We came home from Church hoping to stream today’s game. Only thing I could find was the radio broadcast. I thought every spring training game was broadcast?

No, that has never been the case.

No in extra innings you play with only 1 outfielder and no shortstop to see who wins.

interested in this but it has a paywall. What does it say (now that Fanduel is out, I’m really bummed).

Video of Max Clark’s single…
@nate is it permanent that tweets will no longer be embedded on the board?

# Several Tigers games to air on TV this spring for free; here’s how to watch

While the Tigers still are finalizing their television details for the regular season, they want fans to know that several games will be available to watch for free during spring training.

The Tigers’ spring opener against the New York Yankees on Saturday was being streamed at tigers.com and MLB.com, through the Yankees’ YES Network telecast. To watch Saturday’s game, and other Tigers’ spring-training games, fans need to sign up for a free account at MLB.com. The spring-training TV telecasts are available are for free Tigers fans living in Michigan and surrounding viewing territory.

The Tigers haven’t yet announced their complete TV schedule for spring-training games, but they are expected to use their crew for at least a handful of games this month and next. Tigers spring-training games won’t be available on traditional cable, as the channel that will be used for regular-season games has not gone live.

The Tigers said a complete TV schedule for spring-training games will be announced next week.

The Tigers announced earlier this month that they are leaving FanDuel Sports Network, which appears poised to go out of business at the end of the NBA and NHL seasons, and moving to MLB Media’s umbrella. To access 2026 regular-season games, Tigers fans will need to get a streaming subscription through MLB.TV (price TBA), or an upgraded-tier subscription through their cable provider. An app for subscribers also is in the works. The app and cable channel haven’t yet been named and aren’t expected to be live until just before Opening Day.

The Tigers announced Saturday that 20 spring-training games will be broadcast on the radio, starting with Saturday’s game against the Yankees, on either 97.1-FM or 1270-AM.

The rest of the spring-training radio games will air Sunday (97.1), Monday (1270), Wednesday (1270), Friday (1270), March 1 (97.1), March 2 (1270), March 6 (1270), March 7 (97.1), March 8 (97.1), March 9 (1270), March 12 (1270), March 13 (1270), March 14 (97.1), March 15 (1270), March 16 (1270), March 17 (1270), March 18 (1270), March 20 (1270) and March 21 (97.1).

What threw me off is, every streaming site had the game listed as available.

no more Fanduel apparently. I get MLB network, but could only find the Yanks/Mets. I guess you have to sign up for MLB to get all the games. I’m at my subscription limit, if I add one I have to cut one!

And tomorrow Pistons/Spurs game is on Peacock, Shitty!

My understanding is that those in Michigan can now subscribe to MLB.tv to get the Tiger games as they MLB is now running the broadcasts for the Tigers. I believe that it includes the MiLB games as well.

With that said, need to confirm before signing up on my say so, as I don’t live in Michigan so my situation is different from those still in MI

Looking like a typical Skubal start.

Skoobs 2 innings with no runs and 4 K’s.

Vierling with a lead off triple and the next 3 guys struck out.

Drew Anderson in relief of Skubal gave up 1 hit and struck out 2 in the 3rd inning.

Skubal said he will only make one start in the WBC before returning to Detroit’s camp.
