Two things….i have always said that JJ reminds me of Josh Allen and KOC is one of the best QB coaches in the NFL. We will see what happens with the two notions!
This is what I have been saying for some time. But people take my MSU fandom and think I am just hating on JJ because he went to UM. Which I just do not operate like that. The NFL is not college. Just like College is not HS. The NFL is a different game, played at a completely different level and intensity. And for me I have zero carry over from the college game to the NFL.
I think Hutch said it best when he commented the NFL is like playing OSU every weekend. Even Urban commented on how the NFL gives no easy games. Every game is like a Natty game in college.
Not to mention everyone on the other side is fast and knows where they are going and why they need to be there.
JJ is a premium athlete, with I think a plus arm for strength. I am not sure how accurate he is and we will find out for sure. But it is all about his melon and also the scheme. I think it is obvious Minny has a good offense as far as scheme so it really will fall on JJ. I do not think you can really grade him until his 20+ start. He needs to play and learn and then see how he adjusts when the NFL defenses map out his tendencies.
He has received very good coaching. And has shown me he understands it is about winning games…period. Stats are for losers.
He is also in one of the toughest divisions. So he will see some tough defenses next season.
I would be way more shocked if he led his team to the Division Title or was even a top half QB in the North next season. I doubt highly he will be better than Goff or Love and Caleb might even have a better season. The NFL is a savage place. JJ could have a very good season and be the 4th best QB in the North.
Yes, they finally found him. Here:
Yeah, SO true, just like when Goff leaned on Sam LaPorta his rookie season
Great movie! Norm was hilarious
