On that play the replay was inconclusive because you could not see the ball on the ground. You could clearly see that he did not have it in his hands when he was on the ground. I say no catch. I also don’t think it cost us the game. They could have just threw one to Puca on the next play and we weren’t going to stop it. In fact they could pretty much do anything they wanted and we could not stop them.
Well put sir. I still get emotional during the games and let my mood be taken over by this franchise. Can’t explain why. But an hour or so after, i remember it really doesn’t matter. At least i got 3 beautiful seasons of true competition.
Yeah, this TD call was hilarious but the inconsistency of holding calls was really annoying. Rams didnt get a flag until the end of game lol
If we get a flag or Jamo managed to haul it in I think the game probably goes down to the final play.
I think our third quarter slump is slightly overstated. The holding call killed one drive and very small margins killed the other. Our defence got gassed and gashed.
The frustrating thing that the Rams are the cream of the NFC and we were more than capable of hanging with them but self inflicted errors killed us. We are a decent team but just a bit too beat up and sloppy at times this year to our detriment.
Great team, in their barn, banged up to all hell, up 24-14.
The reason I don’t share the sentiment… I knew they were getting the ball after halftime, and I also wasn’t counting on a 58 yard interception return from a DE in the second half. While I did think we’d win, I knew we’d have ate play better, in order to do so.
Other than the terrible call of putting parkinson in the end zone.. which they would have had 1st and goal from the 1 if they had gotten it right.. (the way we were playing on D I highly doubt we stop them anyway).. it was pretty even. Yeah they missed a DPI on Jamo, but we also got away with a lot of contact down the field on multiple other plays where we could have been flagged. Overall the refs just didn’t call much either way. Which honestly is better than a game where there are 20 flags.

The Rams getting two TD’s (that were not), probably had something to do with it, no?
You know what pisses me off, more than being cheated?
NFL influencers telling me I’m blind and ignorant. I played the game. I’ve been watching the NFL as long as I can remember. I’ve been an active Lions fan since 68. I’ve coached other sports.
I know cheating when I see it. You can’t tell me the Emperor is wearing clothes, because, well all saw his corruption hanging out for all the world to see.
Pretenders are the stupid ones!
Parkinson’s first TD was a drop. No Rams penalties until late delay of game/punt and mercy make up call versus Amon Ra late. No PI calls. No holding calls.
Our defense SUCKED and the whistle wasn’t balanced either. Both are true.
make up call versus Amon Ra late.
It was a make up call because it should not have been a DPI. It did not make up for the DPI on Jamo earlier when the game was still on the line. I still don’t blame the refs because we could not stop the run.
Very interesting take by an AP writer. I am not familiar with him but he states he wrote about this back in 2008
My screen shot cut off the other 3 pictures he had showing the ball moving and the receiver well short (all the photos that have been making the rounds)
