Patricia was supposed to be a defensive genius for The New England Patriots…a major leage team that fucking wins and has the bowls and rings to prove it. NOT as a first-time HC for The Detroit Lions, A team that has never had top shelf leadership going all the way back to when WCF first owned the team. with all the mountains of cash The Ford Family had, WE could have had thee greatest front offices and leaders and Scouts and O-lines and D-lines Money could have bought !!! WCF didn’t bother, didn’t care and we have been a shitty circus act ever since.
60 or 70 years go by and our leaders say “make our defense great !” Well The Lions was the worst team in the NFL, by the time MP got here not much else changed. we have been one of thee worst teams in NFL History and yet…our front office says “what? you don’t have any head-coaching experience??” “not a problem ….welcome home.” I don’t HATE Matt Patricia, but our front office should have got their collective heads out of their asses and hired a ^$#!@* HC with GAME-WINNING-EXPERIENCE and even a BOWL or two behind him…that is very knowledgeable not another “yes man half wit” who NEVER fucking coached !!!
STOP getting these people that pumped gas , operated a hot dog stand, or sold cars and just give them OUR HC and GM and OC/DC positions !!!

IF their morons, they cannot build O-lines or Defensive lines , they can’t give the lions a adept, functioning and productive running game…let alone an offense or defense worth a broke pecker…and can barely win games. humph ! sounds familiar !!!
To take it a step further with Pats leadership, Kyle Van Noy did an interview within the past year where he described how the team has a leader in every single room. He literally went thru each position group and “meeting room” and named who the leader of it was.
wow maybe you guys should focus on the fact that the players are saying this is a shit scam exactly what we watch every sunday confirms what there saying. players saying theres to much talent to be this bad and and thats what many are thinking at least me , and yet they are the ones that need to be quit and your mad at them Lols. eveyone gets blame but patricia . get rid of players like slay for the coach of the shitest defense the lions might ever have put on the field and thats saying alot. i think some just have a hard being wrong.
Is that really true? I have noted second half adjustments both last year and this year. An example of the last game would be Jacobs got most of his yards in the first half. There was a noticeable drop in production from first to second half.
Yeah, I don’t know if he needs to go yet. He’s a young HC and will have some growing pains…but yeah, at some point he’ll just be a dumb or bad HC, I’m just not sure you can’t give him a little more time. I mean, you have to realize that a first-time HC is going to make some mistakes.
I believe his failure was not getting a former NFL HC in to help him organize and assist with understanding the leadership aspect of being an NFL HC. Instead he hired a bunch of nobodies who’s voice isn’t respected.
Why is it that every time something like this happens the Lions are never at fault? It was the same song and dance by fans when LoJack, Calvin, and Levy made comments about the Lions. Look at the results on the field, the defense sucks and this franchise has a track record of futility. If the Lions were a well run organization they wouldn’t have these problems and actually win games.
You take and tead each situation as it’s own. Just because this team blows and always has doesn’t mean its OK to label them as wrong or incorrect every single time.
I mean, damn guys. I don’t even watch the game anymore. What more do you want from me? LOL.
You’re asking me why a Captain that was traded under controversial circumstances (and more importantly, poor play) would jab a shithole franchise like Detroit to try and save face now and in the future?
The players have never held up their part. The belief being they are pros. When have you ever seen the players buy in? Under Bobby Ross. No. They partially bought in to cocaine Wayne Fontes. They partially bought in, you start if you attend our prayer group Cadwell. They partially bought in to Jim Schwartz. No the culture here has never changed. We have talented rosters where the players never stand up, they point to management. I don’t buy it anymore. We’ve had every type of coach. I am beginning to think the players are the problem. They come here and get infected by the attitude I’ve seen since the early seventies.
