At the end of the day his modest production is not worth the baggage he brings.

Jamo is producing 68.6 yards from scrimmage a game.
ARSB is producing 68 yards from scrimmage a game.

And he’s doing it on far less targets/touches. Let’s not get it twisted that Jamo is some sort of underproducer.

He tried to plead his case no coach was having it. Once Detroit got up it’s like they told the bears do whatever you want no flags are coming. Some of the holding on McNeil and smith were crazy. I seen at least 3 tackles where they layed on top of our dl.

Yep. Brought this up in the gameday thread. Said the refs should flag it before Jamo got a stupid retaliatory penalty. Anyone could see it was going to happen.

They were getting under Jamo’s skin and he bit. Jamo needs to do better to not fall for it, but it wasn’t surprising he did.

I can actually confirm this. Went back and watched the play. Stevenson never touches him or moves his hands till after the he trips him but with his right leg he trips him then spits out his mouthpiece and stands over him and says “get your ass up you ■■■■■■■ bitch”.

Listen, life has consequences. He threw a ball at a dude who is an asshole and was in his face the entire game. Dan bencehd him and yelled at him. Let it go. He is not dumb. He is not a degenerate. He is not a turd. He is an emotional kid who needs to grow up more then most bc the camera is always on him. The hood comments in here are just wild.

And if you think hes in the same dog house as Houston was, you can easily tell by the coach speak and body language, and I didnt see that from Campbell. Watch him as he talks about Mosley or Houston compared to Jamo, and you can tell, while there is some frustration, He still trusts and believes in him.

Your right. Jamo is clearly liked by the staff. Jamo listens. Houston was stubborn. Jamo puts in the work and does what the staff asks. He’s also very talented and the staff can see his potential.

But…. He also disappoints. He’s immature and he leaves you thinking he just needs to grow up and learn but I don’t think he’s one to learn the easy way. He has to learn the hard way.

Jamo responds to getting his ass chewed so the staff is taking that approach with him more often than they would others.

I think they want him to grow up … but at some point he either does or he wears you down and you cut your losses.

I do agree that it will eventually reach a breaking point if it continues and no change is had.

The thing is, most of this is some immaturity, its fixable

he isnt doing heinous shit, but he does need to clean up himself, and be a bit more professional

To be honest, when other teams see that they are gonna try it more and more with Jamo. So he’s going to have to be aware of that going forward. Every defense has some crazy shit talkers and they are going to try to bait him even more now.

JaMo is what the team needs. He is healthy and needs to play.

These antics will drive down his eventual cost to stay. And if it doesn’t, we get picks. If Jamo played like this AND with a clean record, there is no way we would be able to afford him.

How is this not a poll? No bench is my vote. To be reevaluated on a weekly basis.

Hopefully the coaches sit him down and tell him…“listen we watched the video and we understand why you did what you did”.

Then tell him we all have breaking points but next time just keep head down and make them pay on the field… then give him a hug and tell him this is in the past and let’s not let it happen again!
