I know it’s for the kids that come to Ford Field, but I feel that we need a whole new look uniforms, logo, color, mascot, and all. Sometimes I feel that Roary looks goofy and just another reason to laugh at The Lions. actually want the team to resemble actual Lions in color and attitude. I always go back thinking that The Saints’ colors would look better for Detroit, The Lions, Actual Lions, and why not have a bad-ass Lion Airbrushed helm like they do for NHL Goalies? just thinking outside the box.
Well Dan did want a real Lion on the sidelines, but PETA responded to his musings and sent him this stuffed Lion.

Totally agree. I like the ones we had from 1970 - 2008. The current one looks like a Thundercats thumbnail

Though I do admit that as a kid, for a while I thought the arms was the mouth and that gap between the chin and arm was the eye and I remember thinking, ‘why does this Lion have such a weird head’

I used to see the USPS eagle as some sort of weird dude in a weird cap looking down and to the left (I didn’t see the eagle head).

I guess they don’t want to screw up the division nickname?
No black or blue in Green Bay.

I like the 52-60 version the best followed by the 70s thin lion. Bubbles is ok.
But they could totally still use that 50s lion and update the player behind him. Or just use that lion solo, it actually looks menacing.
And I agree @LionFrog, I would not be opposed to a color scheme change, and the ones you suggested would be much more fitting of a real lion! There aren’t any tan and brown teams are there? Besides the browns?
I’d say tan brown black and green… give it a savannah feel. The camouflage hats and jerseys they sell would fit super well with that color scheme
