Does Frazier start at left guard?

If Glasgow returns to center, drop Frazier in at LG, Tate at right.

Can that group protect Jared?

I hate that PFF is the arbiter of truth here, but Yode also fails virtually every eye test. I would imagine Frazier is taking considerable reps to get his feet under him, and as of Thursday, he will have been active for a few weeks.

Thoughts?

Or are we cooked?

No.

We are just getting started.

Beat the team that just beat the Super Bowl finalists back to back weeks

Mini bye then beat Stafford and Aaron

Then finish out with payback for Vikes

And

Dethroning Ben SNF week 18

I don’t think we’re cooked by any means, but I don’t see Frazier starting. The man missed all of training camp where practices are so critical for rookies. Practices mid-season just aren’t the same. I’d be stunned if we see him at all unless things get even more dire than they already are. I fully believe they activated him so he could practice with the team and get ready for next year, and potentially a back-up role this year for injury. I don’t think he jumps Yode on the depth chart.

Like a normal punt or a Jack Fox punt?

Maybe…but he also might be better than Awosika?

He has to beat out Yode.

Really, we have no basis for grade. We’ll know when we see him play.

Our last three losses are by a combined 17 points…. We are close still…

  • there are no scenarios where we can be eliminated from any of the seeds this next week
  • We win, and we stay in the mathematical race and need help still…
  • Imho anyother team with the injuries we have had the last two year would all be ten loss teams…. We are not

His scouting report says he’s a good pass blocker but needs work in the run game. Even if all he does is upgrade the pass blocking that alone would be big.

Also… This staff hasn’t been too generous with playing time unless it is earned by the player.

If Frazier gets a start… he’ll have to earn it.

I’d love to be wrong… But starting rookies in must win games? I highly doubt it.

Now if we lose the next 2 games… Then all the rookies may be playing.

But gotta at least try to win before then.

Guys saying we should rest everyone at 7 and 5 is pathetic

I want to be optimistic and say yes…but I literally have nothing to go on with Frazier. I do know that he didn’t allow sacks in college and he must be at least somewhat athletic as he played all five positions at one point.

It’s better than starting Niles.

Athletically & physically-yes. It’ll depend how well he knows the playbook at this point

Can he play center ?

He made a comment that he could play center and was willing to fo it back during the off-season. I remember reading some of the media projecting him to practice there during training camp.
