My bad, totally on me. I remembered all the hype of Carr going to Michigan, he made a couple visits and then I never heard anything after that…so I assumed when Richard Parker said we got him that he meant Michigan…and not some overhyped catholic school that underperforms every year.
It’s all wether or not the NCAA wants to throw their weight around or not.
It amazes me what they allow some schools to do and what they punish others for. There’s a lot of politics (probably bribes) going on behind those scenes.
I’m hoping Dylan Raiola is the real deal, I like when Nebraska football is doing well. All signs point towards him being legit.
I remember him and his little brother running around the facility not too long ago when Dom would bring some HS players around he was assisting with on recruitment. They were just little shavers at that time, crazy how time flies.
To both of your points. The thread i created about my nfl cousins and friends at the wedding in DC. So many stories were shared about Ohio State. They are doing things right now that would get Harbaugh banned for life if he was still at Michigan. I have mentioned this once before. Kallen ballage drove a geo metro for 3 years at ASU. He scored 6 tds in a game i think against Oregon State, showed up on Monday driving a 150k BMW. My cousin said they were always told to not do too much that would bring attention to themselves, like hand to God, my cousin was told “OSU and pryor got punished bc they got to big and obvious about it and the NCAA couldn’t ignore it”.That was at ASU.
Have they ever talked about the Baptist church in Clemson, South Carolina?
Everyone I knew who kind of went down the Pre NIL cheaters rabbit hole kept bringing up that church. Grant these aren’t coaches just die harder and often of competing schools but I have no idea if it’s legit. Though their recruiting did moon around that time. And a church is a fabulous front.
Nobody would ever ask the church, “why do you have all that cash on hand”? And you wouldn’t dare say it in the Deep South.
