NFL knows the Lions would smash the Eagles. Wouldn’t be a great way to kick off the season.

This is GREAT news!!!

This game becomes a “win-win” for the NFL kickoff.

I hate the Cowboys so much…. so if the Eagles win as expected…
it will still be enjoyable to watch Jerruh squirm as his team realizes how mediocre they will be in 2025.

OTOH…. if…. and it is a BIG “if”……

the Cowboys steal a win in the opener….

I haven’t watched it yet either. It’s in my HBO queue but got pushed pretty far down before I got to it and I forgot about it until just now. Reviews are decent.

Don’t think so. I know he was highly involved with Sugar, which was really good.

He directed five episodes of Sugar but I haven’t watched it yet. He’s a fantastic Director IMO. Both City of God and Constant Gardner were terrific IMO.

Its a bit of a stale opening game matchup. Cowboys may be the 4th best team in their own division.
