Dortch and Hunter should not have been let go. Period. I’m not sure if Holmes has started drinking or not paying attention or what…
I could care less about Dortch, but I do rue losing Hunter. He was the only viable coverage LB on the roster (until Rolder gets back at least). But he’s a liability against the run, and that’s just not gonna work for us. Honestly I’m surprised we went for him to begin with.

Well, he’s 6’2" 224 lbs. Except Malcolm (whose proven to be stout), the Lions LBs tend to be on the bigger side, i.e. 237 lbs plus:

I think it’s clear that’s what happened, our moves right after it was announced speaks to that. We were trying to get him back, but the Pats buckled and offered him a spot on the 53. We weren’t willing to do that.
