Your statement is 110% true in 2026. I am picturing myself as a teenager 30+ years ago in the 90’s when I watched the most Sportscenter, trying to process what you just said. How in the hell is my phone going pull up highlights. Is it a hotline that I call in to, and a pre-recorded message tells me what happened? The correlation between “phone" and “view" were planets apart back then.
This was the phone in my house back then. I just hoped the cord stretched far enough to have a private conversation.

I just got bike shamed. My gardener normally tends my home in the late morning or afternoon. Today he arrived at 7:00, just as I was shoving off on my daily ride. He said, “That’s an e-bike, right?”, like he would call in a wellness check on me if it wasn’t. It isn’t.
I remember the days when I could sniff at and feel superior to the sloths who needed an e-bike boost on any incline.
I want to make this very clear: Get off my lawn. All y’alls. Now!!! I should have left with Marshall Applewhite and the gang for Comet Hale-Bopp while I had the chance.

I literally only have ESPN bc it’s part of the package with disney. But I only watch it for the lions games and I guess the one or two times a year the pistons are on there. I only use ESPN for the fantasy football app

There is value to shows like SportsCenter or Good Morning NFL where you can just flip it on mindlessly eating breakfast. Especially sportscenter where I might get informed on new names in different sports etc. It’ll be interesting to see what happens to tv deals when the media conglomerates so much and goes to streaming. Its good now, but what happens when everything is owned by just a couple outlets like Amazon and Netflix on the next deal or the one after. Those companies don’t NEED sports like networks do.

I’ve documented why Jason annoys me many times. Too many comedy routines in the middle of games.
I follow what FarmerTed said above, background noise, although, that is primarily Siriusxm or GMFB nowdays.
Was curious as calling someone a “cunt” due to his voice seems a little strong.
Annoying due to his voice I understand, just curious due to the first comment.

Nothing to do with it. I think he is annoying. I have zero issues with Rich Eisen. I wonder what school he went too again. I cant stand Dan Dakich because hes annoying as well. Not a fan Rico or Gator Anderson oh what school did they go to ? That narrative is false because of what school he went to. Cant stand Stephen a Smith or skip . Did they go to AA. I cant Jalen rose but I like Chris Webber. I liked the tv show Mike and Mike. Now I cant stand mike Greenberg.
