Whoa, that couldā€™ve been called a foul on Brooks or a double dribble by Halliburton (caused by the Brooks foul). The refs swallowed the whistle. Thatā€™s one of the most dramatic shots Iā€™ve ever seen. You wouldnā€™t believe it if it was in a Hollywood movie.

Very cool story. Hard to believe any GM would take Hayes over Halliburton. And this is not 2020 hindsight. Killian was always brutal.

I was kind of happy the Knicks had Thibodeau. He didnā€™t bring anything special to the table, and I;m not sure the players had his back. Knicks seem to always under-achieve, hard to believe they didnā€™t win anything when the NBA gave them Ewing. They actually may be better next year. They need a bench though.

Man am I glad the Pacers sent the little flopper home.

A ton of people thought the Pistons would take the Knicks out and I doubt that anybody had them beating the Celtics.

I feel like Thibs had that team playing way over their heads.

Unless they hit a HR replacing him, I think they will regret this.

The Pistons did take the Knicks. Ref blew it. I thought that after we beat the Knicks, we would have taken the Celtics. At the end of the year, I felt that the two and three seeds (Celtics and Knicks) were easy upset targets for ether the Bucks, Pacers or Pistons.
