Lions won’t get rid of Rod Wood. He’s the President and CEO. His job is to make sure that the Lions’ corporation or company, remains profitable. He is a bean counter. Lions need an outside person to help identify a GM.
I’d actually, if I was the Lions, separate the VP of Football Operations and GM positions. A VP of Football Ops should be the correct person to pick a GM. Giving Quinn, who’d never been a GM both duties, was a fatal flaw of the Lions’ front office!
