First time any team lost in regulation with plus 3 turnover margin and 40 minute plus time of possession
Yea… I brought that up in another thread.
Don’t get me wrong but the Bears could have won by 25
We gotta clean these turnovers up
Against a better team and we lose by 3 scores.
Wow, that’s interesting.
Fields started dancing just a little too early
But they didn’t!
The NFL really wanted Chicago to take its best shot at the Lions it appears. We played them this time coming off of their mini-bye (Thursday Night Football vs Panthers). The next time we play them is coming off of their real bye. WTF? They are going to play the Vikings next week…take their bye…then get another shot at us again after extra rest and study time.
I don’t know what happened to the fabric of the universe, but it feels different to be the team on the positive side of these “This has never happened before,” occurrences.
Yeah I don’t like how our division games got scheduled this year so smashed together. Although I guess I’d rather play them when we are ideally playing better at the end of the year. Just don’t like playing the same team in a 3 week span. And definitely interesting about the bye week stuff, I didn’t know that
And if we beat the packers. Bears are officially eliminated from the division title race!
When we beat the Packers , Bye Bye Bears…
I would have to do some digging, but I think our current situation with the Bears is unique. I don’t think there has ever been a team that had a chance to face a team off of the mini-bye AND the real bye in the same season. And if they did, it certainly did not come in such a short time stretch.
translation —> they’re in deep shit
Nice to be on the other side of a historical moment for a change.
Doesn’t make sense to me either. If you suffer a couple of key injuries when you’re playing against a bunch of clumped up division opponents you could be screwed.
