Football Recruiting

We just landed a really good wr, and I have a very strong suspicion that we are about to add a true stud.

Your entire post is correct though. I pretty much agree with all of it.

Just thinking out loud here but what other colleges would offer a high level basketball and football programs for him to join?

Bama? nope
Ohio State? nope
Oregon? nope
Miami? nope
Texas? not really
USC? not

What other colleges am I missing?

Why not Bama? It seems like they would be very appealing to a guy that wants to play both sports.

Never has Alabama won a National Championship in basketball and have only reached the Final Four once.
Michigan has been 8 times, won a National Championship and has been runner-up 5 times.
That seems like quite a big disparity in programs if you ask me.

While correct, I would say that the last few years AL has increased the quality of their bball program. Oates was an excellent hire and at one time was mentioned as a potential candidate to replace Howard when Oates was still at Buffalo.

You are very correct, it seems they’ve been much more relevant the last 10 years or so…but I would still say that Michigan under Dusty May is a better program.

Michigan basketball looks to be very good this year. If they can gel quickly…watch out.

Smart decision. Choosing between being a top 10 pick in 3 years to dropping out of first round.

Sherrone Moore is one hell of a recruiter. Just know the game when it happens fellas. If you can’t beat him…

Just a dig at OSU and their dline development. His other finalist included OSU.

That is a HUGE GET for the sign stealers. I mean Buckeye Nation is convinced that Moore stole Ryan Day’s recruiting signs to get this kid. James Franklin is crying too and quite frankly so are myself and my coach Free! Yes, I talked to Marcus

You know when Harbaugh left and some of the rival fans of Michigan were expecting a Brady Hoke-like setback for Michigan I cautioned all that Moore may not be as good a coach as Harbaugh but he is a much better recruiter. Believe it out not Sherrone and my guy Free share a very similar concept to Deion Sanders in recruiting!
