The only players I wish he kept at the money they got with hindsight was CD3 and Roy Lopez. Even with CD3 he had never stayed healthy including the year he was here
Everyone else fell off a cliff dramatically after they left.
I love Amik but Washingtonās defense sucks and they are getting passed on. His PFF rating is high but heās the same player he was here
Except maybe 4 games in 2025 (Ravens, Commanders, Cowboys, and second Bears game), heās pretty much doing what he did last season.

OK looks like this has turned into a DMO thread vs the original intention. So wtf Iāll bite here.
Tbh, Iām not 100% sure but I personally think the only reason DMO went to Houston was to grab his last high paid contract / stash when he still could. That is to say it was all about money and not about snaps. The fact is that the Lions FO didnāt think he was worth that amount and so he walked and had to take the best contract while he still could.
He and Gibbs had / have a brother like relationship. ARSB and he are still buds . I think people are making this more personal than it really is. Just a family / business decision at the end of the day. If the Lions were willing to pay him what he could earn on the open market he would have stayed and youād still have Sonic and Knuckles. Just my 2 cents.

I agreeā¦ and will also add that Looez WANTED to go back to Arizona where he calls home.
Lions might not have got him to stay in Detroit for double the price.
