I know it’s been stated many times… but Gibbs LaPorta and Branch are complete studs.

Studs is right. Both Gibbs and Branch college reels were off the charts. They were NFL ready before they hit the draft. Morons passed on them. Laporta’s initial reel was less flashy and short in comparison. After he got drafted somebody actually put a little effort into polishing the reel a bit for prime time and you could see a bit of what they were shooting for with the pick. But truthfully that guy has surpassed all predictions.

Gibbs is what we all wanted best to become if he could have stayed healthy.
Speaking of Laporta, I actually think we might be able to make the same comparison a bit between Laporta and Kittle as per Gibbs/CM. Kittle is obviously a veteran and been doing it for a long time but in terms of production I’d say that this makes this a bit of a wash on what each brings to their respective teams.
Gibby has way more grit though.

I’m really really curious to see what bromart looks like next year with a season of strength and conditioning under his belt. I’d be perfectly happy if he develops into the nose tackle version of McNeil.
