They’d benefit from stealing 3/4ths of our roster. In fairness, so would most teams.
How very Bears-y to think that adding a defensive piece is what would fix their team.
I love Branch
The only answer here is Sewell
That’s kinda a silly article , I mean every team in the NFL would love to have a Brain Branch and every team will have gotten better by doing so.
From the article:
A favorite not just to win the division, but the NFC as a whole, as well as the odds-favorite for the Super Bowl, the Lions represent everything that Bears fans can only dream of. On paper, from the top of the organization to the players on the field, Detroit thrives in many areas the Bears are weak, especially comparing head coaches in Dan Campbell for Detroit, and Matt Eberflus in Chicago.
That’s not what the Bears were saying 3 years ago! Also, the Bears wouldn’t have had to steal Brian Branch, had they picked him themselves. Maybe do what Detroit did, and trade up to get a player you believe will help you. We know Green Bay was listening to offers.
Hutch as well. Either would suffice. Hutch and Sweat would be, um, something.
But Sewell instantly upgrades their offense. Guess it comes down to what is available in the draft/FA on which direction you go.
Stop being rationale. Poles and company were too busy believing their own hype. May we never forget this gem:
Only thing they’re taking is an early vacation after the regular season ends. Oh, and I guess they’re taking a fan beating perception wise because they’ve failed yet again at being a good team. Just breaks my heart to see it.
Now lets flip it who would we steal from the Bears?
I would take Rome Odunze over Montez Sweat Rome is only 22 and would be a fun addition to Amon Ra and Jamo
They could have drafted him but past, mayne they should be wanting Brad. just saying.
Not really.
The Bears traded their own 2d Rd pick, No. 32 overall, for Chase Claypool.
The Lions traded up to No. 45 from No. 48.
The Bears only had No. 53 & 56 in Rd 2.
Bears will be Bears. There is no help for that.
I agree. But what i am saying is Branch was surprise drop out of the first round. Had they really wanted they could have taken him at 10.
This. Best tackle in the game and their weakness is what… the oline
I’d say they would want Gibbs Offensively and Hutch Defensively.
