Hard to read this article about his hire to San Fran a few years back and not be excited about him. He would also be a natural pairing with Saleh.
I’ll add that he worked with John Elway and John Lynch. Both former players with limited GM experience who needed a guy around them who has this skill set. He’s ready to run a team.
The glory-chasing after successful teams thing gets tired for a Lion’s organization that is constantly pandering. But ---- it is tempting with the Niner’s organization, that is not only currently successful, but had to turn around a bad situation in order to get there.
