Goff is a top 8 qb in the NFL.
Hes good enough to win the Superbowl.

Mahomes? Yup. His rings he had top 5 oline. He lost the superbowl when his oline was bad.
(2023 it was an “above average line” over all, but number 1 in pass pro)
Eagles? Won with a top 5 OLine.
Seattle last year? Yup top 5 oline.
Rams? Top 5 oline.
Thats no secret at all.

I’m not saying I don’t like Goff. When he has a clean pocket, there may not be anybody in the game that’s a better pocket passer. However, when he’s bad, he’s epically bad as well. He’s still better than any Lions QB in my lifetime, and I’m not a young man, including Stafford. I hope he gets to hoist the Lombardi as a Lion, which will end all arguments.

He’s no where near Stafford
I had time to think about this. Goff is part of a Team, they all got to do well to reach a playoff let alone win those games. Jared can’t do it alone, and yeah he’s a damn good NFL QB-however, there are times Goff: makes errant throws, doesn’t get rid of the football fast-enough to not get hit, sacked, chased. there are times he’s being too risky with the ball, over/ underthrows his targets, and looks awful -at times- but just like Stafford, when Goff is on his game, he’s hard to beat EVEN top 5 worthy. HOWEVER , the team has 50+ players and they got to gel together well and function on all levels to be King of the mountain. It’s not just a QB, it’s team-effort, team reward.

Yes sir! If we had been capable of fielding a defense in the playoffs of 24, we could have gone all the way.

Honestly, Stafford is better with the busted plays, Goff is better at the non-busted plays

The Rams did not need to spend 2 first rounds on the QB position

He’s the ultimate example of what and above average to great offensive line and above average to run game can do for a quarterback who has excellent route running WRs/TEs with decent to Great hands.
It’s just too bad they never had a defense to go with it, because in that time frame there should be a couple super bowls.

as a full season starter Goff has had only one losing season 2021, when Lions had dump all over paid veterans brought in by Patricia
