Personally I don’t have Goff as a top 5 QB……but he’s close and on his good days he’s as good as anyone. I think he leads the NFL in TD passes and yards thrown the last 3 years so he deserves some recognition.

Allen should be #1 and i honestly have him #1 by miles because he’s ridiculous.
It’s fair for Goff to be 5th. He may not have the physicality or skill-set as others but neither did Tom Brady. For better or worse, winning matters. Those random spurts of INT’s drive me crazy. It’s the same ish that he’s been doing his entire career. No one can convince me it wasn’t his fault they lost to the Redskins. You can’t win when your QB has 4 TO’s. He needs to cut that ish out! And i really freakin like Goff he’s been damn good and I really freakin want this team to win!
Anyway, he deserves that 5th spot.

I always said Mahomes won’t age well. That’s not to say he will be bad, he won’t be. He’s very smart. He won a superbowl with a high ankle sprain, so we know he knows how to play without the ludicrous agility. But he won’t be as special for sure as those skills decline. And I think they already are declining.

things change when it comes to QB’s take Mahomes, two-three years back, he was the Goat- but that doesn’t make it so as years go by- I don’t think he’s the greatest anymore after maybe 4 seasons. as for Goff, I’ve said/stated , he was a top 5 QB several times. frankly I like Hurts more than rat boy Mahomes.
No, it shouldn’t have. They lost. High scoring games happen all the time. I’m not ignoring the fact that the defense sucked, but they had massive injuries. Your QB had 4 TO’s which included a lost fumble. When your QB has a game like that your team loses. Thats it. Not trying to argue or advocate that Goff sucks i still think he deserves that 5th spot.

Could simply swap out Mahomes for Daniels and it’s a much better list. Mahomes is not far and away #1 as some may argue. Half the time I watched him last year he looked like ass. He’s great and is a HOF shoe in, but he’s not Jesus in cleats.
Jayden has to do it at least two seasons to even qualify. It’s hardly unusual for players in any sport to have a rough second act after a stellar rookie campaign.

He’s been to 5 Super Bowls in his 7 year career and won 3 of them.
I get that people hate Mahomes and the Chiefs, but this Mahomes isn’t as good as people think stance is just wild to me. Last year he won the SB with Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore starting at WR and a 7th rounder at RB. They made it back this year (and beat everyone’s favorite QB Allen) with a decimated OL where they had to shift a OG to OT (and if finally showed in the SB). He’s done all of that with - if you listen to some on here (cough, @Mr.Peabody, cough) - a bad GM who doesn’t accumulate talent very well.
People say Andy Reid, Andy Reid, but Reid was Mr Couldn’t-get-over-the-top in Philly which is why he was eventually fired. He was the same in KC before they drafted Mahomes. You claim he won’t age well in one sentence, but then in the next admitted he could win without mobility.
Personally I think he will eventually go down as the best QB of all time. You don’t win at the highest level like this unless you’re an elite, elite guy. Aside from the hate for KC and Swift and his wife and brother and all that stuff (which I get), I can’t understand why people think he’s just this lucky guy who isn’t as good as people think and doesn’t deserve the love. It’s collective madness.
