Montgomery’s natural position is WR coach. He came into the NFL as a WR. After playing WR in the NFL for 5 years, he went back to college to be a WR coach at his alma mater (Duke). The Steelers then hired him to be their wide receivers coach, where he helped mold young guys like Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders, Antonio Brown.
