How can the Detroit Lions stop Josh Allen?

Win the turnover battle.

After Campbell mangled twinkle-toes and after that guy I’ve never heard of dragged Love’s face into the ground, I feel like the Lions don’t put up with running QBs anymore.

Wonder what they’ll do to this guy

You stop him by keeping him on the sideline.

Buffalo is soft against the run. We should be able to put together long, sustained drives that chew up the clock.

Get a lead. Hero ball is where he is more prone to interceptions in my opinion.

I was thinking about this last night.
Brass!
As a matter of fact, they should replace “Grit”, with “Brass”.

Score 45 points - see Rams

I am not sure you “stop” Allen.

But as some have suggested you win the TO battle and you out score their asses.

Allen again tends to lose patience. You want him to feel pressure to make a play and he tends to make a mistake.

Buffalo with Allen is the ultimate all in or go broke squad.

Looking forward to this game. Should be a great one.

When he runs, spear him in the knee. Kerby are you listening

I like Allen but not on Sunday… The pain train is coming

I certainly dont want to see him hurt but he definitely opens himself up for it with the way he chooses to play.

You certainly can’t tackle him up high, he runs db’s over. Dude is the size of a tight end

For sure and that means you see guys tackling like kerby… too bad he is the only dirty mfer that tackles that way when going up against a guy that size

Have him face KC in the playoffs. Seems easy.

Hit him…alot. If you keep smacking him, he’ll think twice about running, and he’ll force more throws to avoid getting hit.

Haha made me laugh. In fairness the last time he faced KC in the playoffs, he had 400 total yards, 4 tds and 0 picks. Still lost though cause the Bills defense gave up 45 points. Kinda like yesterday vs the Rams

Be careful buddy, your post has already garnered a reaction from Viking fans on social media about “dirty Kirby”……and more than a few tears have been shed. Soft ass fans.

You don’t. He will get his.

The goal is to win the TOP. Win the turnover margin. Force more FG’s than they force on you and you win.

Our run game will wear them down. Their offense is scoring almost as well as ours but we’re putting up 70 more yards a game than they are.

This suggests we’re kicking more FGs than they are. We have to be better in the redzone.

On defense the Lions are giving up two fewer points per game.

This should be a close matchup.

Lions are built for games like this! Like the rams outscore them. Keep allen on the bench with long td scoring drives.

3 losses

Baltimore led 21-3 at half.
Houston led 17-3 at half.
Rams lead 24-14 at half

Get on them early. Keep Allen in the pocket and hit him.

Yup. Hopefully we keep James Cook bottled up. If we do that I think they’ll struggle to keep up with us.

Reader and Alim back would be big. Literally…
