I know a lot of us can get over excited and drink a lot of kool-aid, but how excited are you truthfully for next season?
I criticize Goff probably more than anyone else. I don’t think he’s as great as others think. I will say he probably would have went 2nd in MVP voting because of his states had they won, but winning 9 games and force feeding ARSB won’t cut it. I judge ALL players on what I see not stats. No more 5 INT games win or lose, no more 5 TO’s in the playoffs, no more chokes in must win games. He needs to be better.
FYI, I will not respond to Goff debates or attacks if people want to start jumping on my back.
The OL should be better? The inside is/was the problem. But Mays is a C grade signing. Mahog and Frazier haven’t shown anything. Can Sewell be an all-pro LT? Can Miller step in right away?
We know about Jack and Hutch and I have reason to think they might be even better, but can anyone else help? Alim needs to be good, Tyleik needs a big 2nd year jump, Reed needs to be better, Moore needs to step in right away, including other rookies, and players need to stay healthy. Is it over for Kerby and Branch?
Will losing DMo hurt? Can Gibbs do it full-time? He’s got to be just as good or better than Bijan and CMAC, and not run out of gas.
Cards fans hate Petzing.
In saying that, they still look damn good on paper at least. The offense should be exciting as always.
I think the offense is gonna be awesome. Defense though not sure. Lots of question marks on D. We might need to win a lot of shootouts. if the defense can even be mediocre we probably win 12 games.
Imo if the defense can simply go from dead last to middle of the pack in the league at TTP on opposing QB’s, that could very well be the diffrerence in 9 wins to 11+ wins
The realness…
We’re gonna miss Monty. I love him.
With that said:
-didn’t use him enough last year anyway, so the production that he created won’t be as missed… Slightly Nerf”d
-Pacheco is better than people think. He was coming off of an injury last year, and should be much healthier and confident. Pacheco looks amazing in running drills, and Very athletic and powerful.
Patzing didn’t have the tools to work with when an AZ
I think the guy‘s gonna kill it out here. I feel like he’s a creative guy, more than a system, guy… Though I admit that I have had concerns about his tight end usage, as well as commitment to the run
While those are good things, you need to be able to create with the talent you have
I am more excited than concerned, and could see Teslaa In a really fun hybrid WR/TE role.
We have so much fire power on offense, that we only need our offensive lying to be average… But I think they will be better than that
Especially toward the end of the season when they gel with each other and the offensive coordinator Goff We have a ton of input again
I love that we’re gonna be improved on defense, but our offense is how we win games
A supposed contender letting Anzalone walk is really sus. And relying on a failed D coordinator for another season and I see amateur hour. We can make the playoffs but too many holes for a real contender.
I’ve got some reservations about the defense. What I saw the second half of the season last year has me concerned. Not sure who we have playing NT, both safety positions and will Arnold be good with an off season full of distractions. I like DC being more involved and hoping Shepp takes a second year jump.
The offense look top 5 to me with a healthy Laporta and an OL that got a serious injection of youth and talent.
