How do we stop Jayden Daniels?

Safety blitz to his blindside, separate him from the ball, along with his confidence.

He’ll make his plays and it won’t be nearly enough.

This is the best matchup offensively the Lions could possibly have

Keep Daniels stuck on the bench. Use the offense to control the time of possession, making it hard for him to get any kind of rhythm going. Late in the game you want Daniel’s to feel like he has to make something happen because his defense needs a rest. That’s when you’ll see the rookie mistakes.

Our pro bowl punter may only see the field when he hold the ball on extra points.

This is the week we introduce the fake extra point, 2 point conversions. Fox gonna throw 5 two point conversion passes before halftime

Better question:

Is Penei scoring a touchdown?

Alex, Iffy, Branch, and Kirby have to be absolute dawgs.
Lucky for us, they are!
Tampa Bay is a good team. Their regular season record says they weren’t even the best “Wild Card” team.
It was a pretty low scoring game.
Daniels and the Commies are good, and, not to be overlooked, but, I don’t think they’re going to be our problem. At least, immediately.

Well dont use double spies like TB tried tonight. Didnt work out at all.

Not being able to defend against mobile qbs is single handedly to biggest red flag on AGs resume. Please let him have his eureka moment ASAP because jayden, jalen and lamar are coming.

Specific to your question, it comes down to the standard stuff - setting the edge, good gap discipline, no over pursuing, and of course good coverage on the back end.

Glenn will have to mix his coverages to hopefully bait him into some bad throws. Blitzing is great, but we can’t miss or over pursue as noted above. Just be disciplined.

Paschal has to set the edge so QB does not escape to his right. AA, BB and Iffy will be the keys. One will spy the QB, one will cover Ertz and the other will blitz. They will have to guess who is coming on the blitz. We will play Kerby deep and man up on the outside. I expect our offense to score every time we get the ball.

Interesting way to spell Jalen hurts.

Just put him on a shelf and keep an eye on him.

we have a good defense with players coming off injury, and a no quit Offense that can burn teams at will—that said , I’m not worried about ANY teams or their QB’s .
The Detroit Lions are Kings of the hill and haven’t been knocked off of it.

From the parts I saw, if they play anything like they played against Tampa, we’ll beat them by 3 TDs or more.

That just figures, doesn’t it?
Well, gotta beat the best to be the best.

If we stay hunger and respect them for what are capable of doing (if we aren’t ready) and play violent and controlled football, we will win…

Having Alex back and with a game already under him is huge imho! …

Looking forward to it…
