How do we view Alim McNeill's future in Detroit?

The Lions starting DTs of Alim and Tyliek will be great next year.

I expect Alim to make the jump back to close to what he was before the ACL. Tyliek will continue to get better.

Wingo is nice depth, and they likely try to re-sign Lopez and maybe even Reader, if he takes a pay cut to stay (he publicly said he doesn’t want to move).

So with those 5, they’re pretty set at the position, but wouldn’t surprise if they draft a DT in the mid rounds if they don’t bring back Reader.

I’m pretty sure Levi O is back next year as his contract tolled due to injury.

I thought Tyliek flashed a lot last week against the bears. I expect him to take a jump over the offseason.

I could see them giving Levi one more shot, but not sure they’d put themselves in a spot where they are counting on him for snaps. More of a bonus.

Also could get him cheap, since he just pocketed a whole year’s salary for nothing. He owes Detroit.

I feel like he (Alim) is signed for the next two years?

I’m sorry, but, Levi has taken up a roster spot long enough. Best of everything and thank you for the time and work. It’s just time.

I think Wingo would get meaningful snaps on most 4-3 teams, and he showed again last week the ability to disrupt the pocket quickly. But unlike us, most teams don’t feel the need to run 4 deep at NT on gameday, and that moreso than lack of ability is why Wingo ends up riding the pine.

Patience for patients.

Alim with plays good next year or he gets cut.

I’d take Levi back on a 1 year 2 mill type deal. Maybe incentives for games played. Low risk deal. Not counting on him to start but be a rotational guy
