A Crosby level trade is not needed. Raiders would want far more than that and if that was really all they wanted Brad would get fired for not pulling the trigger.
A trade for more DE help/depth is 100% needed. That position was already hurting before the Hutch injury. We blitzed like crazy against the Vikings and still didn’t generate pressure. Got basically no pressure against a terrible Titans team. You can make a solid trade without mortgaging the future. Chiefs just upgraded their team with 2 trades and barely gave up anything. This is what great teams do. When you are this close to a Super Bowl you have to address your needs. They sat on their hands last deadline when an upgrade at DE and corner was needed and we ended up watching Vildor trying to cover 49ers.
