I don’t consider driving an rv or trailer to a lot and plugging into power and water as camping :man_shrugging:
[/glamping" as they call it. but it’s nothing lik, e laying out a tent, attaching tent-poles, setting up the tent, running your anchor lines and tent stakes, setting up the interior of the tent, cooking over an open fire, fetching firewood, there is nothing like that.

When on the river it’s kept in dry bags, in the blind it’s kept in dry boxes. Last thing I need is mouse poo and fish smell on it before use

Gotta have fresh shit tickets before soiling them, right? :joy:

Never pick up a sock or head cover in the woods on a golf course… Old man made sure I knew that early on

Money is no object, apparently. UK plated. So shipped overseas. That ain’t cheap.

I camped a lot when I was younger. Did a bunch of fishing trips all over North American including Canada and hunting trips out west.

I even did a camping/ Deer hunting trip on my honeymoon. Coming home I was pulled over by the DNR for having two bucks on the truck topper and a just married sign on the back. He was sure that there was some foul play going on.

I chased trout and Steelhead on nearly every major river between Michigan and Oregon.

As I became older and more financially stable I replaced my tent with cabin rentals and resorts.

My back can’t handle a tent anymore but I still enjoy the outdoors when I have the time.

Salmon camp is a family tradition.

Pictured, my nephew, my neice, my neice, me, my cousin, my son, my daughter-in-law, and my other son.

We also camp for the love of it.

Speaking of Salmon Camp. This is one of the main reasons I go. This picture is totally undoctored. This is what the camera saw. Still doesn’t do it justice.
