Mlive was the one forum I never participated in, two plus decades of msg boards but managed to stay away from that one completely.

I will never forget the time Artose returned to Detroit and the Lions made him look like Jim Brown. 125 yards and 3 tds… For his career he didn’t crack 1000 yards. Oh those Lions teams were terrible. But on that day he was him.

I was going to say the same thing. Pretty much every team that played us during that time has a “that day, he was him” moment.

Let’s not forget us making Matt Flynn rich, then he didn’t even win the job from a 3rd round rookie the next season…
