It always makes me laugh when guys do that. I feel like it’s a pretty gross coping mechanism for a lot of guys.

Rural areas can be great for that. Once ppl in small towns get used to seeing you, it becomes “normal.”
When you live in the city, you become a traffic hazard, among other problems.

He’s looking for a path to get on our team. 
It’s just best for the team if we keep them away from the practice facility, and off the sidelines. I would try to keep it so the only time they get to see Jack Fox is when he’s wearing a helmet. I can see problems arising from it, especially if Hutch has a jealous nature to him. We don’t need the new high profile DE getting destroyed by the Punter on Hard Knocks.

Lots of truth to this as well. I’ve heard that fox hasn’t shaved his head because in doing so, it’s his best attempt at crowd control. Season ticket holders are disproportionately female in Detroit since his acquisition, and they want to keep it about football as much as possible. Want to keep the fan base cheering for the team, instead of just a bunch of rowdy women showing up to get a glimpse of the punter, ya know?
