The big reason for that and credit to Goff is being durable. He’s missed only 5 games over the last 6 years. His overall career record is good, not great. 54-45-1
With the Lions he’s 12-18-1, which kinda brings down his career average, lets be honest the 2021 Lions teams was in complete rebuild so hard to hold that season against him.

Patrick Mahomes has really done well for himself. He has become the Jared Goff of QBs.

That’s a good point about staying healthy. Looking at the splits he has the third most starts in the top five of that metric
Brady - 98
Mahomes - 80
Rodgers - 88
Goff - 93
Cousins - 96

Most of those QB’s get rid of the ball quick and don’t take a lot of hits, so it makes sense.
