Almost guarantee you never thought twice about him in a bears uniform. Our players are always better than everyone else’s. Thats how it’s always been around here. Hell Joique Bell was loved and said to be good. He was literally pure trash. Same goes for Zach Zenner…

This. The overuse of Gibbs will prove to be fatal.
cough
I am sure the Eagles feel terrible.
Gibby
Bijan
CMac
Saquan
Henry
D-Mont
…that’s how I have ‘em.
Howzabout 2 consecutive division titles, one of which was a conference title
ah he wasn’t ever meant to be a pass protector, he is barely 200 pounds and the big nasties running at him outweigh him by at least a hundred pounds and are in motion , that’s not sustainable.
This is were guys lose me, all off season guys like you said we’re a better team then last year even if we lose more games. Heard that a 100 times here. The Viking front got much better in the off season they nulafied a our oline made look like chumps. They got a young QB so they have some up and downs but they got better in a lot of other areas.
Don’t know where I said we were definitely better? I’ve said all along I was more concerned about Ragnow than any coordinator, and like many around here, I was really worried about the OL. The Vikings let a PB quarterback walk who is leading one of the hottest teams in the nfl currently. JJ hasn’t looked great for the Vikings and has missed 23 games and played 3. He also didn’t really look great against Detroit but credit to him for getting the win. Maybe the Vikings are getting ready to go on a run but I don’t really see it.
Dude I’m not sure if you were one that said that but a whole lot of people did.
This is why he is valuable to the team and the reason I like him as our backup RB.
But it’s a fact that the more he plays the weaker we are on offense. I’m not really worried about taking a stance against the grain. Our fan base thinks the world or all our guys aside from the yearly punching bag. Monty is an average NFL running back. He is very replaceable from an on the field standpoint.
I think Dan Campbell would strongly disagree with you.
Gibbs just had a hell of a good game against Washington. I think we got even with those SOB’s for The 24 upset .
Gibbs has 551 yards this season, he is an excellent catcher, and I think Morton really dented Gibbs stats with many of our other players, I think Gibbs would be at 700 yards if Morton hadn’t been calling his BS.
I would suggest that D-Mo has not gotten back to the level he was at pre-injury. I am not sure how we can test that with data but “the eye ball test” tells me he is not even close to pre-injury. And anyone who suggest that the remedy to the Lions poor running game is to give the guy with elite skill set less carries is licking toads way too much.
I thought he looked good today… Amazing what holes can do for running backs
We rushed for 230 today ![]()
I thought he lacked a burst like he had pre-injury. And again if we have access to Nex-Gen game stats this could be resolved with actual game data.
I respected the hell out of Monty when he was with the Bears. Was very excited about getting him. Oline is not doing him any favors this year.
No Taylor on that list?
