I’ve never in my life, in all my 30+ years of watching football have I seen a player more over-hyped than Amon Ra. Am I the only guy who isn’t delusional? It’s one thing when he’s not dropping passes. That deserves credit, but he has 3 drops so far, and all of them have been UGLY. With a drop that cost them a TD drive. Yet, no one wants to put any blame on Amon Ra. The beat writers give him A grades.
Amon Ra has this reputation for being some elite reliable WR. HE IS NOT! He runs lazy routes, can’t block, doesn’t get open, and is unreliable. His deep routes are too slow. The play call, protection, throw, and talent must be perfect or there is nothing.
People love throwing positive misleading stats. Here’s a good example for you, Goff throws a perfect dime, St Brown is so late downfield that he has to twist his freakin body around to barely get that TD. But of course the stat sheet will favor Amon.
I can name a million catches CJ has made that blew my mind. Amon Ra has never caught anything even close to impressive.
I need Amon to start getting sync with Goff, and to stop ignoring him, dropping passes ,or breaking too late. Do not tell me for a second that Jefferson, Adams, Diggs, Hill or Kupp wouldn’t have that guy playing like a superstar.
Amon Ra is the definition of a mediocre WR. That’s fine. Teams have won superbowls with that. They can win, and they’re winning, but I need St Brown to get good and match this over-hype now.
While i can appreciate the humor, amon ra dont deserve to be a part of our den troll bait. Too far man, that guy is a literal saint, he is also the sun god… might want to be careful calling down his wrath, i hear he is known to keep lists of those he feels slighted him… good luck
We’ve never had a receiver who can get us a 1st down, guaranteed. He owns the mid range, he has some drops, yawn. He gets looks and he steps up. Once jamo gets inserted we will be able to send St. Brown on fly routes which he has said he wants more of, we play to our strengths and he puts us over the top.

We sometimes have a rather dry sense of humor around here.
No matter how over-the-top you go with exaggerated sarcasm and snark in a spoof post, it can still be hard to distinguish from actual nutball rants one will occasionally find.
I’m always reminded of this Paul F Tompkins bit when this happens.
