The loss to the Commanders really dulled my thirst for football right now. The scouting combine will likely slowly rekindle that and by the time FA rolls around I’d expect this place to be much more active.

Just not much going on in football right now. Once free agency opens up in March there will be tons of new threads.

News is sooooo slow (non-existent) right now, the only things circulating are made-up “should” stories that somehow get turned into “so-and-so is”.

I remember coming back here on the daily and seeing so many threads I said "damn I’m falling behind and better catch up on all these threads, now it’s like I see three threads and think about doing other things until there are more -later on…I know it’s slow, I know threads get crazy in the offseason , I know it can be very trying to post a bunch of fresh news about the Lions, it’s damn tough sometimes to-but I also know you guys are why I am here daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly-because you all can come up with great topics, I have seen you all pull together and bring many great threads here-this offseason it’ll be a long time, before it’s game day again . we can gut it out and try to do our best…I always believe in you, in Nate , and all the Mods. there is a reason I have stayed around for 20+ years HERE, both day and night—it’s all of you.
Part of that is you complain about topics that are started….such as draft topics!

For sure not much to discuss and even less to complain about right now.
Wait until Holmes drafts someone. Half the board will think it was brilliant and the other half will proclaim he has jumped the shark…this is the way.
I mean in years past the Lions had so many problems you could talk endlessly about almost any area of the Lions.
Now your ownership and front office are in great shape and locked down. A boat load of new coaches so hard to complain about keeping any coaches when you have all new ones. No rosters moves have really been made so nothing to criticize.
I mean for 50 years it was open season on all those topics.
Now everyone is just waiting for the season to see if the Lions win it all.

We are good and we don’t have to sit around asking about 90% of our roster anymore or whether our coach is terrible. Enjoy the calm.

This is contentment …. We are not posting as much as we know! We are contending in 2025…. As to before we had anxiety over an unknown future imho
But folks like you help keep us from also becoming complacent 
I assume you’re only seeing the PG content Wolf, there’s a bunch of adult stuff that the algorithm doesn’t show to everyone.

There’s two dead zones in NFL news. Post Superbowl like Wednesday to Combine Day, then a week or so after the draft to camp.
It’s easily the major sport that has well spread out Milestones across the entire year to where there’s almost always something going on. I mean nobody gives a crap about basketball for about 3 months and about the same for baseball. For hockey it’s probably more months than that and I have no idea even when the soccer season is so…(whatever Zoomers I don’t care).
I think we can handle a couple 3 week Gaps with our own creativity and for a lot of people it’s a Down time just to decompress especially after such a s*** way to opt out of what should have been a Super Bowl run.
We’ll get that traffic back up so that Nate can keep living on his private island and make sure that G5 is all fueled up and ready to go, No Worries
