Quality CB’s are really hard ro find in this league, and they get hurt a lot. Not sure why everyone thinks just because a team is bad that they’re ready to unload talent at this position? It will be way more expensive than anyone is ready to accept.

Well, if the Lions are in position make a run and CB is still a big weakness (and it will be), it would be GM malpractice not to overpay some if that’s the market reality.

I was checking the NFL transactions page since any team claiming a Longerbeam has to add them to their active roster. No luck, but here are a couple interesting items.

  1. Falcons CB AJ Terrell to IR. - sounds like a Lion already.
  2. Tyson Bagent is in concussion protocol. So either Case Keenum will start, or Caleb will walk on water back onto the field. Which would be ironic, because running on water is what got him “hurt” to begin with.
  3. Apparently Colby Sorsdal signed with the Falcons.
  4. Packers lost Zach Tom/Bako-Bewele for the year, torn patellar tendon.

I know when Washington traded for him, everyone was expecting it to be a huge move. It really was more of a flop. Lattimore kept having hamstring injuries I believe. I think his time has long passed.

If I were brad I’d be looking to add a safety. We all know Kirby isn’t coming back. This is where brad needs to show some growth. If you can’t upgrade at corner I’m betting upgrades at safety can be had cheaper.
