Very true. But I don’t believe he does. Goff panicked in that game
and played like ass.
One has no way of knowing that….so I wouldn’t state it as a fact!

Goff is the best in the league at pre snap reads, fakes, precision short-to-mid passing, communication (orchestrating the guys).
He’s among the best in Fakes - SO on point
He’s among the best at looking off defenders
He may also be 32 of 32 in escapability. He’s pretty good at throwing it away when needed, as well as pretty good at manipulating a pocket (he did a terrible job of that last week though).
Goff is a GD superstar at what he’s good at, but he needs to be protected. He is one of the more Offensive Line Co-dependent QBs in the league. He’s a surgeon when protected. When he’s not, it has the potential to get ugly.

BREAKING NEWS! Stafford is still the best QB in the NFL and should win MVP. Either him or J Taylor. Goff is 3rd for me right now for MVP.
I think we need to put Darnold onto that list as well.
Stafford putting up great numbers. 74% completion, 8.2 ypa, 20 TD vs 3 INT, 117.7 qb rating…..
Wait, those are Goff’s numbers (higher in completion percentage, ypa, qb rating) than Staffords.

Stafford is a stud and my favorite active QB. That being said, Goff is awesome as well.
