I think the team is taking the responsible self-aware approach and doing what they can on their end to try and limit something that they don’t really have any control over. I do not think that canceling joint practices is their way of admitting that they are at fault with these injuries. Bc they are not. They have been unlucky but they are doing what they can do try and lower the chances of the bad luck continuing.

Agreed. The team is older now. Several guys are on their 2nd or more contracts. They don’t need as many reps as they did during their rookie contracts.
I hope they begin to get away from the terrible grind in camp and focus on getting the work and letting the rookies, UDFAs and bubble guys grind out the work. Hope they can focus more on recovery than in previous years.
Hope Dan can adjust. He’s smarter by cancelling the joint practices. The other teams guys may have more to prove and take more risks like diving at a player’s legs to make a play, or stand out.
