Still a good player… But without Kerby we are a pg13 defence. Instead of rated R. We miss Kerby so much IMO

AG being gone is starting to show. Branch has not been a good player this season. He’s been about average at best vs all-pro good he normally is. He just has a repuation of being a good player. He can’t cover anyone. He’s missing tackles. He hits hard but the hard hits are penalties. I think it’s on Shepp.

BB was very good today I am not sure what every one was watching.
He is one of if not the best tackler on the team and his coverage today was elite. And on the TD I am not even sure if he was supposed to ride that guy out or was he supposed to have help over the top. Because the other safety was late getting there

I’m not seeing good coverage. Not just the TD but the catch he allowed on 3rd down off Love’s back foot that ended the game.
LOL that coverage was air tight. I am not sure what more he could have done. He is sticky for sure. I guess if he could have undercut that play but how is that even possible?

90% of Branch’s plays in 2025 have been AFTER the other team already made a good play?
He could have broken up the pass. But didn’t. So there was a TD and he allowed the game winning catch. Good DB’s don’t do those things. I’m glad you loved his atempt, but to me his attempt wasn’t great. I mean, we’re talking a pass off the back foot with an extremely difficult catch. BB wasn’t even fast enough.
I thought I was crazy and had to see that 3 times before I believed he just didnt keep going.
Batman and Robin
I wouldn’t pay him big bucks. I’ve seen Harper balling out more than Branch
I love Branchs attitude and play style. This year he’s been more name than game in my opinion.
Ohh and Kirby is better. Arguably the 2nd best player on D behind Hutch. Debatable he’s their best D player.

Branch was awesome the two prior years. Hopefully it’s just one down year. It does make the extension timing a bit trickier.
