Won’t play until mid october.
What else can go wrong with him? SMH.
His job now should be spending hours on the juggs machine. Recommend Dan’s pressor today. Of course Carlos was trying to bait him into assigning blame, but it just sucks…Best to shut it down so doesn’t drag on all year. Also confirmed it was the opposite hammy than earlier, per dan…
What kinf of bull is this?
“As it currently stands, Williams would be prohibited from getting treatment at the team’s facility during his suspension, but the Lions are exploring an exemption.”
He was injured during an official NFL activity.
Was he hurt pre-celebrating his next drop?
I’M KIDDING LEAVE ME ALONE
What a bummer. This kid needed these reps.
No kidding
Another disappointing development but what are you gonna do? At this point it feels hard to rely on him being a starting WR for this season. I’m not calling him a bust or assigning blame, simply stating that we’re gonna been another capable body at WR while this dude gets things figured out.
Starting mid October it’s going to be the same thing as we were saying for pre season. He is going to need reps. So be prepared for Jamo to be right back where he was game 1 of the preseason. Maybe even worse, coming off of an injury.
Derrick Williams
Mike Williams
Roy Williams
Jameson Williams
Hate to say it but it might have been destiny for the kid
Only impact is he misses out on remaining of preseason reps beyond that he can still be an asset when he was expected to be in mid october. It is up to him to do it, considering that he can still work on his hands and the mental side of the game he should be fine but he has to do it.
I am tired of the sky is falling with jamo… its jamo radio on 97.1 the media pushes on him continuously with dumb questions about the suspension etc. None of that matters for the trajectory of his career starting week 7. Could he fail, sure any player could, but my god can we stop talking about him now until he comes back.
2022 draft
13- Jordan Davis NT
14- Kyle Hamilton S
Both studs for the next 10 years
Just sayin
Man.
It’s too early to give him a label, but this is not great for him or his career.
I had begged us to take Hamilton at that spot. At least Branch seems to be filling that void, and Amon Ra—if re-drafted—would go top 10.
B U S T
It is clear that he isnt a polished receiver and he may never be, but if he is healthy week 7 (he should be) than he will get the chance to make a few splash plays just like he did last year. Considering the three times he actually touched the ball, one called back, he went over 40 yards and scored twice i think that role can help the team win some games.
He needs to continue to work at it and by all accounts he had been this is certainly disappointing but he isnt likely going to miss anymore regular season games than he was already going to miss.
Eh…not that big of a deal to me. Wasnt going to play anyway. If he can hit the machine a ton over that time to just fix the hands issues, he could be fine. Might take a couple games to get on the same page as Goff, but hopefully the WR corps can handle it.
Im rooting for the kid but man what a string of bad luck. Seems like I have said this before.
Exactly where i am with it, and honestly this part here was already a potential concern with the suspension. I really dont see why these items turn into chicken little beliefs around jamo but at the end of the day he will either get there or he won’t but nothing that has happened to date in his career removes the explosive potential he has and showed in a few reps last year.
you lookin to be dragged
To me this really sets his development back farther, and I’m not counting on him to do much this year. He needed this preseason to work on his game as we all know. Now he’s hurt again, can’t develop his skill set, which than pushes his growth back weeks farther. What a disappointment this pick is becoming. It may not be totally his fault, but let’s hope he isn’t turning into one of those picks where it just doesn’t workout due to many reasons.
