Having Daniels out there late in a 38-7 game should be a fireable offense. I remember thinking on that drive that Quinn is going to have to answers if Daniels gets hurt and lol and behold that very thing happens a couple of minutes later

People were protesting that comparison earlier in the season, but it may fit too well.
In any case, I’m glad the Lions are getting a bit of a break with Lattimore, McCaffery and Daniels definitely out, though revenge won’t be quite so sweet with Daniels out.
Also, notice how that beast pocket passer Jared Goff doesn’t get injured? Hmmm…

Man Daniels is taking a beating this year…gonna have to change how they call plays in the future if they wanna keep him healthy.
I can’t believe he was still out there. Given the score and his injuries this year that just seemed idiotic.
Same team once had RG3 out there trying to run zone reads on 1 leg

Their OL is actually really good at pass blocking, two players rank in the top 5 at their position… I agree they need to adjust their scheme and he needs to adjust his play style if he’s going to stay healthy

It’s tough cause what makes him special is the 900 yards rushing plus being able to throw the ball. As he did last year.
Can he become a better passer and only run here and there? Time will tell. Those hits add up every time he runs. He aint built like Josh Allen

Saw this stat line this morning…
Both RG3 and Daniels were injured on 2nd down, in the 4th quarter, playing the Seahawks, BOTH on the 4 yard line… Scary coincidences? Or are we in a simulation?

I’m not a big hot take guy, but here’s mine:
As the QB position just gets more and more expensive, owners and GMs are going to shy away from running QBs in favor of pocket passers that don’t get hurt nearly as much. When one dude is 20-25% of your salary cap, you don’t regularly put him in harm’s way.
