Yeah it’s beyond funny , while we don’t NEED to lose I would love to get to say 4-6 to grab some O Line or WR players but either way. Same with you guys. With a very high - probably 3-5 draft pick every round you should be able to grab some help for Stafford. And the weather will be Denver Nice - 60’s. Play on.
60s! Nice. Yea I’m ready for this warm front yo get here. Might reach the low to mid 30s here, with a steady beam of sunshine that could be enough to melt the ice off our slab…
Burned more wood than I intended on already, this warm front can give us a weak break.
I’d love for somebody to do an analysis of teams quasi-tanking at the end of seasons, whether they have more players go to IR than the NFL average.
This started feeling suspicious to me awhile ago with the Lions. I mean, it’s difficult to know which injuries are legit IR-worthy and which are, A. a couple of weasels who were building the case to keep their jobs “because we had so many injuries this season - even though injuries are never an excuse;” or B. a team saying, “What’s the point? Get them out of there and let’s work on draft position by further thinning out the competitiveness of our roster.” The best tanking jobs, after all, are done by teams that play hard but just aren’t good enough to be able to win.
There’s also the chicken-or-egg thing that makes it difficult to analyze. Are bottom-rung teams at the bottom because of all of the injuries; or are the injuries inflated by teams quasi-tanking at the bottom rung?
Weasels?
Holy shit. The world says tank and when they do all kinds of nonsense gets read into it
Wise — I’ve never seen you fly off like this
This is an intentional tank for the highest slot possible
End of story
Fixed.
Thanks and here’s to a fun, injury free game.
