What are people measuring this Micah trade by? Is it results? Amount of beans squirrelled away?
Every year posters complain that our GM won’t trade away his beans for proven players and now you guys celebrate trading away the best DE in the league for 2 DT’s and a 20th pick on a team that missed the playoffs (again) and finished 25th in sacks.
The Cowboys had one of the NFL’s worst defenses this year in all of football.
Uhhhhh what is this thread even about. Micah is disruptive AF. And that is WITH everyone game planning around him. Like Garrett, that production comes when the offense accounts for him before every play.
You know, I’m not a big “trade guy”, but if they had done this we’d probably be talking about how the Lions whipped the Bears ass as Ford Field last night
Micah Parsons is a great player. One of the best pass rushing LB’s. He’s a little too one dimesnional for me though. And he did get hurt a lot. He couldn’t win it with Dallas and he disappeared in games. As good of a one dimensional player he is, I personally do not think he is worth 2 1sts and a good player.
I would take Hutch, Crosby, Garret, Will Anderson, Stingley, and Surtain (and others) over Parsons. QW player for player is pretty close for me.
I don’t really care if the Packers lose without him. That means they suck. The Lions win 15 games without Hutch who was on pace for an easy DPOY award.
Yes, Dallas’ defense sucked. QW did go in mid season. Clark and QW are too good of players to just say “their defense sucks” I’ll wait to see if they can figure it out. Maybe it’s the DC, but thats a damn good DT tandom they have.
To have those two players plus a top 20 draft pick in exchange for 1 great player? I don’t know. Thats mind blowing to me how that wasn’t highway robbery. They gave up Mazi who was a bust. Maybe AG can do something with him. Shoot AG made scrubs DT’s look good. But I’d make that trade in a heartbeat.
